Alec MacLeod Alec Macleod has over thirty years of experience in documentary film making and related multi-media pursuits. While much of his work as researcher/writer/director was done for the National Film Board, he also has extensive credits in the private sector as a script writer and story editor for feature films as well as media-related corporate and technical commissions. His achievements have garnered him seven international awards for filmmaking and numerous national and international citations. His speaking engagements have included visits to the universities of Rome, Venice and Potenza in Italy and the University of Alberta in Canada. He also won the CTV Television Scholarship Award at the Banff Television Festival. Macleod is currently involved in the "start-up" of an international film and television school/production facility in Montreal and continues to work on documentaries and corporate work.
