Sally Nelson
Sally Nelson teaches English Literature at Montreal's Dawson College.
She originally hails fromn New York City, and studied in New England and
McGill University.
When David Fennario was a student at Dawson, Sally taught him in a course dedicated to writers who express the views of people neglected by dominant opinion. From that experience came Fennario's well-known first book, Without A Parachute.
Not only has Sally Nelson helped myriads of young people to find their own artistic voices, she has also led some of the most popular adult reading courses in Montreal.
